About
Harvest is a nonprofit homeschool cooperative seeking to cultivate a Christian community of learning where students are taught how to think and how to live. Our goal is to cultivate wonder and encourage engagement with the world as we support homeschoolers in their pursuit of scholé in a classical education. Harvest is a part of Classical Academic Press’ Scholé Groups network, but the co-op is wholly local and independent. Harvest is guided by a Leadership Team and a commitment to Protestant Christian classical education.
Teachers at Harvest are parents, or sometimes individuals contracted from outside of our parent pool, who commit to teach according to our philosophy and in affirmation of our statement of faith. We “co-op” by sharing time and talent and by serving in various ways during the times we meet in order to educate our children to the glory of God.
